MY SOCIAL DISTANCING TRADER JOES SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

The last time I visited a store for groceries was exactly a month ago. I filled a cart at Ralph’s with all the essentials and enough food to last me a little over 4 weeks. It was finally that time again and my grocery store of choice was Trader Joes. In my opinion Trader Joes was taking the most sanitary measures and were strictly abiding by all the social distancing rules. I got to the store on a Tuesday morning at 8:30AM and was the sixth person in line. (Elderly hours are from 8AM to 9AM and the store opened to the public at 9AM). My entire visit took an hour and a half which included the time I waited to get inside. My experience was a pleasant one. There were about 10 people in the store shopping at a time and everyone was spread out. Trader Joes offered free paper bags and bagged everything wearing gloves. After showing my ID for wine the employee even wiped it down with alcohol. The employees were continuously using sanitizer, offering wipes, and wiping down every cart as people returned them. I thought this would be the perfect time to reveal my Trader Joe’s Haul because I bought a little bit of all my favorites as well as some new items I am trying for the first time! Also this was a month long haul!
