Let's start by heading to the intersection of FRANKLIN AVENUE and NORTH BEACHWOOD DRIVE. As a guide you can punch in 6150 MULHOLLAND HWY, LOS ANGELES, CA, 90068 into your GPS. I have found that I lose all service while heading to the Hollywood Hike so I have to rely on my alternate guide which you will see below.

Please keep in mind on WEEKENDS (Saturday and Sunday) as well as on HOLIDAYS you cannot park up at the entrance of the hike SO I suggest if you plan to go then find street parking on BEACHWOOD DRIVE and uber to 6150 MULHOLLAND HWY to begin the hike.

Once you turn onto NORTH BEACHWOOD DRIVE (there is only one direction to turn the other way is a dead end) you will continue to head up BEACHWOOD until you reach LEDGEWOOD DRIVE...

Once you reach LEDGEWOOD DRIVE you will TAKE A LEFT.

STAY ON LEDGEWOOD!!! NEXT YOU WILL PASS BELDEN DRIVE, CONTINUE ON LEDGEWOOD, AND THEN YOU WILL SEE THIS INTERSECTION...

At this intersection take a slight left then quick right up Ledgewood Drive.

Deronda Drive will be on your right and Rodgerton Drive & Ledgewood Drive will be to your left.

TAKE A SLIGHT LEFT TOWARDS THE LEDGEWOOD & RODGERTON SIGNS AND A QUICK RIGHT CONTINUING ON LEDGEWOOD DRIVE... PASS HEATHER DRIVE AND CONTINUE STRAIGHT...

The ENTRANCE is right at MULHOLLAND HWY AND LEDGEWOOD DRIVE.  Directly across from this sign you will see a house with the address 6150 MULHOLLAND HWY. — The ENTRANCE is right at MULHOLLAND HWY AND LEDGEWOOD DRIVE. NOW LET'S PARK!!!!

Make sure you CHECK the SIGNS and Turn your wheel appropriately when parked down or uphill.

REMEMBER: NO PARKING ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS unless you have a No. 195 Permit!!!

I know this looks intimidating but I PROMISE you are going the right way! Be respectful of the private properties and stay on the PATH! Do NOT wonder off into people's driveways or yards!

Right past this little gate is a GREAT PHOTO OPP! SEE BELOW!

This is a great photo spot but I PROMISE IT GETS BETTER!!!! KEEP GOING!!! Or if you are with someone who can't really hike just take pics here and leave! I have done that before!

CONTINUE FOLLOWING THE DIRT PATH UNTIL YOU REACH THE END.... WHICH WILL LEAD YOU TO THE GATE BELOW!

WHEN YOU REACH THE SPLIT ON THE TRAIL...

YOU CAN GO LEFT OR RIGHT.... CONTINUE TO THE LEFT TO GO BEHIND THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN. It is my understanding the path to the right leads back to Griffith Observatory or to a different entrance.
